Health Care Rights Crisis of Economic Proportions
Fellow Americans,
There is a great tendency for every government administered public welfare
program to increase in size and cost. It is being made apparent that the only way
socialism of this kind can attempt to be economically sustainable is when a type
of communist dictatorship takes over to administer it and control the costs.
Experience has proven that the democratic or national socialism that we
now experience in our country is unsustainable in cost. The taxes needed to pay
for it soon lead to our present economic realization of unsustainable. The threat
of the economic crash causes people to react and call for change. To have no
change leads to a sure breakdown of our mostly respected law and order. To
abandon constitutional law and bring change toward dictatorship for cost control
would be a short term fix at best that would still lead to more hardship at a great
loss of our law and order.
A type of communist dictatorship exists in America when you and I are
forced to pay for health insurance whenever we choose to work and earn an
income. This is a political system of force rather than freedom. With our present
system, when we get paid for our labor we are required to pay the federal tax. If
health insurance becomes mandatory, we must either accept what our employer
provides, purchase our own, or pay the penalty through our report on the IRS
Form 1040. This is becoming another symptom of a problem that has been
growing. This is what happens with socialism when government is given the
power of direct taxation. (The Fair Tax eliminates federal direct taxation.)
In 1935 the American people allowed the politicians to begin the Federal
Government's program of Social Security Insurance.
In 2008 the Comptroller General of the United States, David Walker, said,
"The problem is that even though the deficits have come down for three years in
a row, our unfunded promises for Social Security and Medicare have risen
dramatically. In our total fiscal hole it is $53 trillion. That's $440,000 per
household. So the problem's not where we are, it's not where we've been. It's
where we're headed unless we end up making dramatic and fundamental
reforms."
It is without doubt, unless we the people stand up for our rights, the
unsustainable costs of socialism in the United States will become controlled
under a system of dictatorship. This is what national health insurance programs
are leading us into.
We either put trust in God for the maintenance of life and liberty, or we fall to
the corruption of man and the governments of man. The laws of our Constitution
will keep us free only if we have the will to be free.
People who believed in liberty and signed the Declaration of Independence
also believed that they had unalienable rights by virtue of their Creator's
goodness. The problems of living under a government that infringed on those
rights was the reason for the Declaration of Independence and for the birth of our
United States of America.
Those of us who believe in our Creator also have reason to believe in our
Creator's intended harmony of nature. We believe that health and well being
come to those who learn to live in harmony with our Creator's order of creation.
We learn through our Creator's recorded word and through trial and error
experiences of ourselves and of others what actions will generally bring to us
good health.
We learn of clean living and of good nutritious foods and herbs that each
have different qualities to benefit the health of the creatures of creation including
man.
Now comes full circle the problems of government and of the greed and
corruption of those who design to use government to satisfy their corrupt
appetites for profit and control over their fellow man.
The greed of corrupt men for corporate profit provides the money to buy
lobbyists and politicians that promote their special interest agenda. Everything in
their agenda is the worship of profits. They are afraid of what the proliferation and
acceptance of truth in matters of natural healing and health care will do to cut into
their corporate profits.
They seek to take away our unalienable rights to our most basic needs, our
rights of choice for healing and health care. Not only have they succeeded in
denying the hearing of testimony in courts of law from those in support of natural
food and herb supplements in behalf of those whose rights to market such
products are being infringed, they seek control over every source of natural
product manufacture with the power to further deny our rights of health care
choice.
The following report states:
"Last year no one died from a vitamin, herb, or nutrient of any type. ZERO
DEATHS! On the other hand, according to the American Medical Association,
FDA-approved drugs KILLED over 106,000 people last year who took the drugs
as prescribed. Now that's the equivalent of 5 fully loaded jumbo jets crashing
every week for 1 year."
So, why the great efforts to crack down on our right of choice to alternative
health care? Could it be for their fear of losing corporate profits?
The latest attack on our unalienable right for choice of health care comes in
the form of United States Senate bill S. 3002, the Dietary Supplement Safety Act
of 2010 that was sponsored and submitted by Senator John McCain on February
4, 2010.
Part of this piece of legislation reads:
`(e) Evidence of Compliance- A dietary supplement facility or retailer shall, prior
to manufacturing, packaging, holding, distributing, labeling, or licensing the
dietary supplement, obtain adequate written evidence from the preceding
responsible entity in the chain of commerce that the product is registered as
required by section 415 and that the requirements of subsection (a) have been
met. Such facility or retailer shall maintain such evidence of compliance for
review and inspection by the Secretary upon request.'.
(d) Civil Monetary Penalty for Non-Compliance- Section 303 of the Federal
Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 333) is amended by adding at the end
the following:
`(h) Civil Monetary Penalty for Non-Compliance- Notwithstanding the provisions
of subsection (a), any person who manufacturers, packages, holds, distributes,
labels, or licenses a dietary supplement in violation of section 301, 402, 413,
415, 501, 502, 505, or 761, may, in addition to other penalties imposed in this
section, be fined not more than twice the gross profits or other proceeds derived
from the manufacture, packaging, holding, distribution, labeling, or license of
such dietary supplement.'
It is the opinion of those of us who believe in the validity of the Declaration of
Independence, that harmony with God and with God's creation is much cheaper
than slavery to the powers of government and corporate greed.
