                   We Choose Liberty Under God
        Rather Than Enslavement To Communism

On the date of September 7, 1774, at 9 o’clock in the morning, the
historic First Continental Congress convened to determine their course of
action for the future of America. That historic meeting was opened with
prayer after those attending agreed that it was more important to be united
in the cause of liberty than by which particular religion. That prayer became
recognized as the first prayer that was given in Congress.

There are a few special words within that prayer that speak volumes
on why this nation has been blessed and why we the people of this nation
have been helped through the trials against our enemies by the hand of
God. Consider carefully these few words from that prayer:

"Look down in mercy, we beseech Thee, on these our American
States, who have fled to Thee from the rod of the oppressor and thrown
themselves on Thy gracious protection, desiring to be henceforth
    dependent only on Thee."

These are words of prayer for the founding of this nation, the greatest
words of prayer that can be given that when spoken in truth from the heart
of the people in all sincerity, have resulted in the great miracles of the rise
    of America.

That prayer of the people, those who were the founders of this nation,
to have "thrown themselves on Thy gracious protection, desiring to be
henceforth dependent only on Thee" was uttered in the hope of a sacred
contract between God and the people.

It was therefore regarded as a miracle that America won the battle
against the world's greatest military power at that time in the fight for our
    freedom and independence.

It was regarded a miracle when the people became united under the
laws of the United States Constitution, laws that upheld the people's
contract with God to be henceforth dependent only on Him. They created
the Constitution to form a central government for the states, a central
government that was to be bound by the laws of the Constitution under the
control of the people who wanted to be dependent only on God rather than
    on any government.

Now comes years later, around the time of Soviet Premier Nikita
Khrushchev's September of 1959 visit to our United States. There are
undocumented reports that refer to different occasions in which
Khrushchev said words such as this:

"Your grandchildren will live under communism. You Americans are so
gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright. But, we will keep
feeding you small doses of socialism until you finally wake up and find you
already have communism. We won't have to fight you. We will so weaken
your economy until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands."

The facts prove that before the bad economic policies of government
and business combined to cause the present recession, our economy was
already unsustainable and heading toward ruin due to increasing costs of
    Social Security and Medicare.

Even though some people see signs of recovery from the recession,
the worst is still coming. The law and order that exists under our U.S.
Constitution will likely suffer its worst failure unless Americans unite to
accomplish reform of an unsustainable economy.
One of those occasions in which Nikita Khrushchev was reported to
have made similar statements was referred to on a CNN LARRY KING LIVE
program in which Julie Nixon Eisenhower Discusses Her Father's Legacy.
    (Program Aired June 20, 2001, 21:00   ET)

About one third of the way through a text recorded transcript of the
    program, we read this:

"KING: And here we have his two -- I guess, I don't know if they would
    be his favorite Russians."

           "EISENHOWER: Well..."

"KING: Certainly, Khrushchev helped make your father famous in that
    debate."

"EISENHOWER: He did, and what's incredible about this is that
Khrushchev told my father in 1959, "Your grandchildren will live under
    communism." "

"And my father said, "Your grandchildren will live in freedom." And I
know the Khrushchev grandchildren. I've met them. They live in America.
And Sergei, his son, is one of our friends, and a very fine person."

The roll of American government includes promoting the general welfare of the
citizens of the nation. The general welfare is served best when our laws of freedom are
upheld in keeping with the unalienable rights of mankind as recognized in our
    Declaration of Independence.

Every person born into this world has the unalienable right to choose the character
they want to represent and hope to be, the right to choose right or wrong, wrong over
right or good over evil in their search for happiness and inner peace.

People benefit most when living in a free society among other people who respect
other people's rights. The rights of people in a free society are easier to preserve
among those who are self governed by a high moral code of conduct or religion.

Among our laws of freedom written in our Constitution is the law of freedom for
religion that states our government will not make laws respecting the establishment of
religion, or restricting the free exercise thereof.

The intent of our laws of liberty in the Constitution is to protect the people's rights to
govern themselves. The American people have shown themselves to be responsible in
their liberty for the care of the earth and environment. We have made environmental
protection laws that are an added expense to our manufacturing.

However, the will of the American people and their laws of liberty are being
subverted by corruption and free trade agreements that enable corporations to seek
profits through the labor of oppressed workers who are not protected in their rights.

Some people choose not to believe that life is in the hands of a personal and
caring Creator. To them, life is accidental which gives them the perceived right to
control and exploit as they desire.

Others believe that, for the good of society, man cannot be trusted with liberty as
our Constitution gives. They think that they are doing good to work for the suppression
of liberty for the benefit of population reduction.

People who believe that they must answer to their Creator for all their actions are
those who are self governed by a high moral code of religion.

It was people such as these who were our nation's Founding Fathers. It was such
people who recognized their Creator when they wrote and signed the Declaration of
Independence. It was such people as these who were inspired in 1861 to create our
National Motto, "In God We Trust".

In the history of the creation of our National Motto, the following is given:

In a letter dated November 20, 1861, the 25th Secretary of the Treasury, Salmon P.
Chase, wrote to James Pollock, Director of the Mint at Philadelphia:

"Dear Sir: No nation can be strong except in the strength of God, or safe
except in His defense. The trust of our people in God should be declared on our
    national coins."

"You will cause a device to be prepared without unnecessary delay with a
motto expressing in the fewest and tersest words possible this national
    recognition."

The government of a free people must not restrict the free exercise of religion,
rather it ought to encourage religion by publishing the truth that the worship of the
Creator referred to in the Declaration of Independence is necessary to the preservation
    of a free society.

A free American people will remain free only as long as they are able to keep
government bound by the laws of the Constitution which will happen only as long as they
depend on God for their needs rather than on government. Government enforced
    socialism is not liberty.

Americans who brought us the American Revolution did not trust government with
the power to impose socialism or, in other words, the power to rob from Peter to pay
Paul. Those who claim that charity is reason to support socialism, can be looked upon
as being in favor of government enforcement of the practice of religion. Since acts of
charity toward the less fortunate is a command of true religion that is imposed on each
individual believer, therefore, the practice of charity is a mark of true religion. Since the
first law of the Bill of Rights in the Constitution prevents the Federal Government from
making any law toward the "establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise
thereof," therefore, the Constitution does not allow socialism in this or in any other
section of its law. Since the tenth law of the Bill of Rights does not allow the Federal
Government the right to assume a power that it is not specifically given by the
Constitution's laws, it is again emphasized that the law of this land of America does not
give power to the Federal Government to establish and force such action upon society.
