                                       First Principle For Good Government

                 Independent American Party National Platform

The Independent American Party (IAP) welcomes to its
membership every race, creed, color and gender as long as they
agree to abide by the principles and laws within the IAP National
Platform, Constitution and By-Laws. The IAP welcomes to its
membership all people of all religions as long as they do not try to
rewrite America's history or change the IAP's recognition of our
    nation's Christian heritage.

The IAP encourages all people to be law abiding citizens who
respect the laws of the United States Constitution and the principles
of liberty expressed within the Declaration of Independence. The IAP
invites all such citizens to join with the IAP to help promote the
principles for good government that are embraced within the IAP
    National Platform.

Section 1 of the IAP National Platform begins with the subject
that is at the foundation of our liberty. The subject is our nation's
    Christian Heritage.

Within Section 1 can be found these words:

“We acknowledge that America is historically and
demographically a Christian nation tolerant of all religions. We hold
that deeming our Constitution as a Christian and religious document
is the strongest defense in preserving all God-given and
Constitutional rights, and the rights of all religions.”

“We oppose Secular Humanism, paganism and Satan worship,
not in terms of freedom of speech, nor as an attack on religious
beliefs, but in terms of the ultimate negative impact upon families,
communities, the survival of our Nation, and the erosion of those
principles and values which have made this Country great.”

These are principles of America that are of at the foundation of
the establishment of our laws within our United States Constitution.
They deserve comment with much respect, promotion and support.

Those who created the Constitution were protective of their
states rights and their personal rights. Most were Christians who did
not want to give power to the new central government to interfere with
their state or personal rights, especially their religious rights. The
Constitution was written to secure the rights of the states and the
people by defining limited central government powers. Therefore, we
have the enumerated laws of the Constitution that specifically put
limits on the powers of the United States Government plus we have
the Bill of Rights to protect personal rights such as religion. To deem
the Constitution to be a Christian document is to recognize the
principles of liberty held by those who wrote the Constitution and their
    reason for doing it.

The IAP recognizes the history of America's Christian heritage
that gave birth to our nation's founding documents. To deem the
United States Constitution to be a Christian document strengthens
our nation's foundations and the meaning of mankind's unalienable
    rights.

Any individual or organization that runs contrary to the laws of
the United States Constitution, laws that were all written to uphold the
virtue of nonviolence and peace that is at the heart of good religion, is
deemed to be unAmerican. When anyone's violent or abusive ways
steps on another individual's rights, it evokes the response of our
    nation's protective laws.

           In God We Trust

           Sincerely,
           Independent American Party
